What's this?
Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

This too short article doesn't begin to cover just how awesome Multiply is. Free accounts have generous features and the reasonably priced premium accounts are jam packed with all sorts of perks. All accounts maintain the highest standard of customizable privacy permissions. Best of all, Multiply, like our beloved Newsvine, is operated by live staff who are also active within that community.

Take Multiply out for a spin. You'll be glad you did.

One of the best things about Multiply is that it's less well known and not full of every Tom, Dick & Harry. Been a customer there about 2 years and the standard has never slipped. Much more mature and more substance than anything I've seen on more popular rival social networks. Great services and a well thought out format attract high quality bloggers and there's a real sense of community.

You get one or two idiots and people who like to think they own the place, but that's normal on any public forum. The quality in Multiply is so high that it stays cohesive... bad apples, bullies and trolls come and go, but it's the only service of its kind I've seen in a decade that hasn't succumbed to them completely. I only hope it stays under the radar... if it attains the kind of notoriety and membership, enjoyed by Faecesbook or Myspaz, it won't be as good.

A loyal and satisfied customer

- Mike ;)

Feeling a little violated there, Dean? Don't sweat it. You're legendary - and far beyond MP. Rock on, hon.

I know, but it did make me laugh.  I even feel a bit honored.  ;-)
